Training in information literacy improves student learning and general education results. Along with providing subject-specific information resources that will help students excel in their studies, students gain from library education in their curriculum.
Classroom sessions
We will collaborate with the faculty to create training that either addresses the requirements of your particular course or assignment or offers a broad introduction to library research and our physical and electronic resources.
Instruction can be one-time or structured to support your course throughout the semester.
Instruction Offerings
Librarians can adapt a lesson to fit the needs of your class or incorporate any combination of the above components into an instruction session. It is possible to teach these recommended course packages singly or in combination. Click here to book an Instruction session.
