USC Library Launches “Library Tea” Podcast, Blending Learning, Faith, and Campus Life

Maracas, St. Joseph — The Forde Library at the University of the Southern Caribbean has officially launched Library Tea, a new podcast produced by the USC Library to inspire, inform, and support the campus community through a refreshing blend of academic insight, library expertise, spiritual encouragement, and uplifting Caribbean storytelling.

The podcast, created by the USC Library’s Staff and IMC team, aims to offer students, staff, alumni, and friends a calm, reflective space amid the busy academic life. Each episode features a mix of research tips, library updates, reading culture highlights, and digital literacy guidance, wellness reflections, and faith-centred encouragement — all delivered with the warmth and authenticity of the Caribbean.

The first 4 episodes feature the special series, New Month, Same God, which offers short reflections to help listeners reset and refocus at the start of the month.

Listeners can expect a distinctly USC flavour — from campus stories and student voices to the gentle integration of faith that reflects the university’s mission. The podcast is designed to be accessible to everyone.

The USC Library hopes that "Library Tea" will strengthen community connection, promote a culture of reading and research, and remind listeners that learning extends far beyond the classroom.

Library Tea is now available on the library's YouTube page.
